On June 17, we participated in our first Relay for Life Event. This is one American Cancer Society largest fundraisers and we had an amazing time. I did not get a picture of our team but our team consisted of family and friends, my mom, Jeff, Brice, Oliver, Kristal, and our friends Ryan, Emily, Mike, Becky and Craig. Our team "Fighting Like Hogs" was AMAZING and our family and friends support was so strong we were able to raised over $1300 (Goal was $1000) A major thanks to my team, Mimi and Papa C, Amy and Jerry, the Adams, Cheryl and Bob, Mike W, Johnson and Johnson, Best Buy, We could not of done it without you!!!!
The event started off with a Survivor Lap.
Jeff's Uncle Scott who recently was diagnosed and on the day of the Relay had his first Chemo Treatment!

At the event, our team camp out overnight and took turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Birthdays were the big theme!
One of the most touching events is the lighting of the luminaries that lined our track. Our family has been touch by Cancer in so many ways. Here is our immediate family luminaries.
