First we have to thank everyone for helping out with Harrison and Avery. This was a crazy time and Harrison and Avery were both sick. Avery was on antibiotics for the first time. And if you know us we are complete germ freaks. So the kids being sick was a huge stress for us. Thank you Nana, Papa, Mimi, Papa C, Jeff, Tara, Carla, Jordan, Ellie and Oliver for all coming to our rescue to help out with the big kids.

On Tuesday, Nana and Papa brought H and AJ up to the hospital to meet the baby.

Harrison loves her and calls her "my baby" Here he is holding her for the first time.
Jeff and I are obsessed with a local bakery so Nana brought the baby a birthday cake. (any excused to eat a Shelby Lynn's Cake!!!!!)

(we had other family members that were able to come for her birth; Brice, Meredith, Davis, Kate, Kathy, Jay and Jessica but we did not get any pictures, sorry)
As many of you know we struggle to name her. We were at the hospital for about 48 hours and she went without a name for at least 45 hours :) We were down to 3 choices Elliott (a name that we liked) Marie (my mothers middle name and a variant of Mary (my Grandmothers "Muggie" first name)), Logan (another name we liked) Marie, and Norah (name that we liked) Lee (my Dad's mom, Norma Lee's middle name).
So for two days she was known as "the baby"
Jeff wrote out all of the choices to try and help us decide.

We finally just went with our gut and named her Elliott Marie (just in time, before they kicked us out!!!!!)
