The first few days!

The first few days were very restful and peaceful for Elliott and I :) Jeff, Harrison and Avery were all sick (bad cold) so Elliott and I secluded ourselves to the master bedroom and Jeff took complete care of everyone else. Jeff did an amazing job and really loved spending all that time with the big kids. Happy to report that everyone is healthy now but we are total germ freaks!!! So we are sorry for the friends and family that we have turned away from visiting us. We were not willing to take any chances and really want to keep our family healthy.

Elliott 1 week old

A little info on Elle:

• Elliott is a very sleepy baby. Sleeping around 20 hours a day. She sleeps 5-6 hours straight at night.
• She has dark blue eyes
• Dark olive skin
• thick black hair in the back and thin fuzzy hair on the top of her head (baby mullet)
• Loves her pacier
• Sleeps on a Nap Nannie
• Hates having her diaper changed
• Loves having her hair washed
• Her first weight check she weighed 6 lbs 9oz (4 days old)
• Today at her weight check she weighed 6 lbs 10oz (11 days old)

Her doctor is a little concerned about her weight so he has suggested that I drink more water, increase my calories (boo for me and losing baby weight:), for me to take a couple of herbal supplements, and if need be start supplementing with formula. We are going to try the first 3 methods first and we go back for another weight check on Wednesday.

All in all, we are settling in great to our new family of 5!
