Harrison and Spot

We had a special Date Night last night! Jeff and I took Harrison out to celebrate his potty training success. We left Avery at home with a sitter then we headed out to the mall for pizza, Build-A-Bear, and a sugar cookie.


We had such a great time! Harrison was being such a ham and was loving all of the attention.

So we were not sure how it was going to go at Build-A-Bear. We were not sure if Harrison would understand what we were doing. We had nothing to worry about! We walk in and look at all of the stuffed animals along the wall. (side note: Harrison loves stuffed animals (lovies) definitely one of his favorite toys) We asked him which one he would like to have. He walked right over to a dog "this one." Buddy are you sure "Yes, this one" So we walk over to the lady that stuffs the animals(who by the way was a retired Kindergarten teacher and we loved her) Harrison helped her stuff his dog and she asked him what he would like to name the dog. We thought he would say doggie, lexie, or cooper. Harrison responded "ummm Spot" Jeff and I were floored! He went and gave the dog a bath and them picked out some underwear for Spot.
