All about Avery

Avery is 6 months old today! She had her doctors appointment last week. It went good. She is gaining weight! She is continuing to take her acid reflux medication (prevacid). We do not have to go back for weight checks anymore!

All about Avery at 6 months:

• Avery you are 14lb 4oz (20%) and 25" tall (30%).
• You take 2 naps a day (2 hours each).
• Avery you sleep from 7:30 pm to 7 am. You are waking up screaming at least 5 times a night and you get up to eat at least once:( Because of this you are still sleeping in our room and you still sleep in a swaddle.
• You nurse about 4-5 times a day. You will not take a bottle. (We have tried about 7 bottles, sippie cups, having other people feed you, and pacies that look like the nipple on the bottles. If anyone else has any ideas or suggestions we are all for them)
• You are eating stage 2 food 3x a day. (The doctor told us to give you as many calories as we can) You love fruit the best!
• You prefer to be held by your momma and daddy. You have stranger anxiety.
• You love to cuddle!
• Your gummy smile melts our hearts.
• You love playing with your stuff dog, key rattles, giraffe, vtech car, and looking at your mobile.
• You love sitting up (with support) and watching Harrison and the dogs.
• Avery you roll over from you belly to back.
• You are finally in your 3-6 month clothing and you just switched to a size 2 diaper.
• You no longer have the Tucker Temper (thank you prevacid).
• You love the song You Our My Sunshine and The Wheels on the Bus.
• You love taking a bath. You have become quite a little splasher.
• You love to be outside.
• You love to babble. You say oooh and aaaah.
• Avery you love to blow spit bubbles.
• You love watching bubbles.
• Your favorite books are Good Night Moon and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do You See.

Avery we love you so much and still can not believe you are ours!
