Avery is 4 months old (September 29)! She had her doctors appointment on Wednesday. It went pretty good. She is underweight. She has not lost weight, she just not gaining fast enough. The doctor is blaming it on acid reflux. Our new plan of action is a more aggressive acid reflux medication and he would like us to start solids immediately. We go back in a month for a weight check.
All about Avery at 4 months:
- You are 11lb 5oz (8%) and 24.5" tall (60%).
- You take 3 naps a day
- Before we left for California you were sleeping all night 8:30pm-7:30 am, now you are sleeping from 9:30-5:00am and you are waking up screaming at least 3 times a night:(
- You nurse about 5 times a day
- You love to cuddle, especially with daddy!
- Your gummy smiles melt our hearts.
- You love playing with your stuff dog, rattles, giraffe, and looking at your mobile.
- You love sitting up (with support) and watching Harrison.
- You are still in your 0-3 month clothing and in a size 1 diaper.
- You have the Tucker Temper but you are getting better.
- You love the song You Our My Sunshine and calling The Hogs.
- You love taking a bath.
- You love to be outside.
- You love to babble. You say oooh and aaaah.
- You love to blow spit bubbles.
I did not think you looked like Harrison until I saw this picture! You both have the same nose, ears, and mouth.
We went ahead and tried rice cereal tonight. Here is your before:
