15 month check up

Today we had Harrison’s 15 month check up. He is still not back to his normal self yet (very fussy and irritable) but he was eating a little better today (half a slice of turkey and a half piece of cheese). We did not do shots today for two reasons: 1)because he is getting over being sick and 2) the refrigerator holding the vaccines lost power during the ice storm. The doctor said that she thinks the vaccines are fine but we decided we will just go to the health center next week.

Harrison at 15 months

  • Harrison weighs 23.4 (30th percentile) and he is 31 ¾” tall (65th percentile). We think he may have lost a little weight over the last week due to the stomach issues.
  • He was able to meet and/or surpass all of the developmental checkpoints (i.e. walks backwards, can say at least 3 words, uses a spoon….)
  • Harrison has 8 teeth. 4 on top and 4 on bottom. Still has a gap between his two front teeth, which we love!
  • He is a runner!
  • His favorite toys are books, Mickey Mouse, musical instruments (drum and guitar), and his stuff animals.
  • His favorite activities are story time, bath time, and blowing bubbles.
  • His favorite foods are turkey, cheese, macaroni and cheese, hamburger pizza, strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges, bananas, carrots, green beans, and yogurt bites.
  • Harrison can say Daddy, Mama, Har-son (Harrison), Lexie, Nana, Davis, Mickey, doggie, cat, pig, (he makes the sound for dog, cat, elephant, bear, and cow) yes, up, on, off, hat, hi, hello, blue, ellow (yellow), bubble, book, boon (balloon), ba (ball), thank you. The majority of the time his just giber-gabbers.

Slam Dunk!
