A Day in the Life of Harrison

Here is a day in the life of our 14 month old Harrison. He is so fun. His personality is really coming out. He is still layed back, very curious, a thinker, and is becoming quite the chatter box.

On weekdays that I don't have to work, we keep our day pretty structured. We typically go to either Mommy and me or the public library for story time. It gets us out of the house and helps me keep my sanity.

We started off our day today with breakfast and story time at the library. Then we headed home to play with puzzles. Still quite difficult for Harrison.

Then on to story time and down for his first nap.

Woke up for Homeliving (pretend play).

Time for Snack!

Lexie and Cooper patiently waiting to see if Harrison drops anything.

Art Time! Harrison just started using markers and finger paint.

Gross Motor Play

Balls! Harrison can roll and kick a ball. We are working on throwing.

Blocks

and Cars!

Visual Tracking and Fine Motor Play - Harrison loves popping bubbles!

After Lunch Nana and Papa stopped by to play. They were on their way back from Harrison's Great Uncle Ron's Swearing In Ceremony/Inaugural Ball. Harrison was so excited to see them. He kept going back and forth to Nana and Papa for hugs. As soon as they left, Harrison crashed out for his second nap.

After Nap it was time for Math/Manipulative play.

Then time for music (these pictures are from last night, they are so much cuter then the ones I took today)! We were hoping he would be a guitar player but I think that he is going to be a drummer!

After Music Play it is time for Dinner followed by Cozy Time. Were Harrison plays with soft stuffed animals (mainly just kissing them all).

Then Bath time, Stories, and Bed. Pretty good for a 12 hour day and you would never suspect his mom was a kindergarten teacher!
