1st Day of School...

Well sort of. Harrison had his first day of Mother's Day Out yesterday.
Here is Harrison with his first backpack...

and on the way to school.

When we got there, H started playing with his new friends right away and he never looked back! We are excited that we got into this program. My favorite part is that he gets to choose his learning centers throughout the day (art, books, science, math/manipulative, music, sand/water, blocks, cozy, and dramatic play). He may not take advantage of everything now but I am excited to see what he is interested in this winter and spring.

The Kindergarten teacher in me knows better but Jeff and I became helicopter parents yesterday. We were hovering outside of his class making sure that he was happy and ok. Of course he was; he didn't even care that we had said our goodbyes and had left the room. He had new friends, new toys, and new teachers to flirt with. In the video below we are standing outside of the room were he could not see us. At the end of the video one of his teacher said, "Hi Harrison"...and as you can see the flirting begins!
